Event Description
On December 4th at CSK in Lublin, a true treat awaits connoisseurs—the premiere of the iconic Bene Meritus Terrae Lublinensi 2025 calendar, combined with a remarkable public event: an open multimedia concert based on the calendar’s theme, “(NOT) OF THIS EARTH.”
This one-of-a-kind show will culminate in a multimedia concert featuring a cosmic suite titled “(NOT) OF THIS EARTH.” This specially composed piece will be performed live by Michał “ZETENA” Zaniewski and a group of accompanying musicians. The concert will be enhanced with stunning animations of the calendar’s pages, created with AI by Mariusz Jurkowski, the creative director at Vena Art. The grand finale will be a breathtaking light and laser show!
Other Attractions
The above-described spectacle will be accompanied by other attractions, such as the premiere presentation of the calendar and a visual arts exhibition located in the Cinema Hall Foyer of the CSK (-1), along with refreshments, as well as special surprises for those attending the event in person.
For those unable to attend the show live, an online broadcast will be available.
During the event, the experimental film productions will also be executed—a concert recording in the form of a music video and an educational “making-of” format showing the creation of this spectacle.

Special Anniversary
For two decades, the BMTL calendar has served not only to promote the Lublin region but also as a platform for reflection on matters that unite us all—regardless of where we are or where we live. The mission of BMTL inspired members of the “Otwarta Pracownia” Art Association in Lublin, who decided to honor the 20th anniversary by organizing a showcase, gala, and exhibition. This year’s edition of the BMTL calendar has transformed into an artistic and educational project that combines philosophical reflections with sound, image, and light.

Informations about the BTML2025 calendar
You will find this year’s edition titled “(NOT) OF THIS EARTH” a surprise on many levels. All the photographs presented in the calendar are the work of Marek Skowronek* – an artist who uses the spectacular technique of deep-sky object photography** to reveals corners of the outer space that are inaccessible to us. His unique images are not just breathtaking “landscapes” of stars, galaxies and objects; they also inspire us to ask fundamental questions about our place in the universe. These photographs take us beyond the Earth but we start our journey from a very specific point – a place that we know, which is our home – Lublin.

Photography Exhibition from the Calendar
The above-mentioned spectacle will be accompanied by a visual arts exhibition located in the Cinema Hall Foyer at CSK (-1), where large-format photos from the calendar will be on display.
Technique for Taking Astrophotographs
The photographs for the calendar were taken using advanced deep sky astrophotography technology that employs the so-called small parallactic mounts and ensures that details of cosmic objects are precisely captured. The solutions used make it possible to capture subtle nuances and high image quality in landscape and night photography. That makes the images stand out for their exceptional sharpness, depth and excellent rendering of cosmic structures such as the Milky Way and nebulae, forming a harmonious whole with the surrounding landscape.
NOTE: By scanning the QR codes placed on the exhibition panels, you can listen to tracks from the specially prepared playlist for this project, “(NOT) OF THIS EARTH.”

The Idea Behind Bene Meritus Terrae Lublinensi
Since 2006, the concept behind the Bene Meritus Terrae Lublinensi calendar has been to showcase the Lublin region to the world in a positive and intriguing light. So far, nineteen editions of this unique publication have come to life. The calendar’s purpose is to promote the Lublin region. It is not available for purchase; ownership is exclusive to those selected to receive it or to those attending its premiere. Each year, the publication includes 100 copies of a limited, numbered “gold” edition with special enhancements and several hundred copies of a “silver” edition, available to a wider circle of connoisseurs. The Bene Meritus Terrae Lublinensi calendar is a collaborative initiative by two companies—Intrograf, a manufacturer of packaging and printed materials for the pharmaceutical and beauty industries, and Vena Art, a tactical marketing agency.
